Vision

I am utterly concerned with ideas about representation, identity, the African Diaspora, narratives, cities, class, social movements, Latin America, education, health care, social policy, race, globalization, justice, emotional health, spiritual development, the creative process, products of creativity and technology.  I probably spend too much time on the internet but a lot of that is spent reading articles on the aforementioned issues and expressing my opinions on this here blog.  I should probably get a PhD in Sociology or Anthro, and I might, but I think a MBA is much more useful.  At the very least I am going to take some courses at the Foundation Center and the Project Management Center so that I can be equipped to find money to manage programs for myself, or for others that help make regular people’s lives a little better and hopefully easier.

Through it all the only thing that keeps me off the edge is writing.
